Mill Point Park (Spring Lake) Meet and Spring Lake Boat Show
There were certainly lots of incredible boats to see at the show, and we had plenty of great motors on display as well, including an unusual 1952 cut-away Scott-Atwater. Speaking of boats, Jack Gilbert brought his beautiful hydro and Noel and Amy Harrington brought several amazing boats and motors - all period correct.
We had an informal How-Slow-Can-It-Go contest and several of us ran our boats and motors out on the water, including Roger Dykehouse with a rowboat motor and Jim Wildgen with his 1960 Merc200. Check out the video!
There was a neat Hit-Or-Miss engine on display, and many other interesting things to see and hear - there was live music!
