This year's Bathrick Marine Meet was held on Saturday December 2nd, 2023. Many, many thanks to our host Shannon Bathrick for having us again this year, and for providing cheeseburgers and hot dogs for lunch!
The weather was typical for December in Michigan, not too bad and no snow. We had a number of general public attend this meet and close to 30 club membersparticipating, and we gained a few new members!
This was a great meet with over 37 display Motors - as always, host Bill Shattuck did a great job keeping the meet running on time. The "How-Slow-Can-It-Go" contest was typically competitive with 7 motors entered. Roger Dykhouse won in the Single Cylinder category with 273 rpm with his Champion, and John Vandervoort won the Twin category with 270 rpm with his Mercury Mark 5.
Kudos to some of our wives for all the lunch setup, distribution, & takedown - and thanks to all who brought some lunch sides and desserts to fill us up.
